UX Design Process

During the initial phase, our goal is to gather as much information about the user requirements, business goals, and the end user personas as possible. We collect information by interviewing the client.

We collect information by interviewing the client, doing research about target audience, and analyzing the competitors with similar solutions. The key differentiator in this stage is our expertise to read between the lines and find out the unstated requirements and wish lists that the clients may have.

Understand and Research

Once the initial requirements have rolled in, we clarify and agree on the business goals of the application/solution that we are building. In this stage the aesthetic, behavioral, and cognitive needs of the end users are documented to create the personas as close to the real users as possible. Once we completely understand the business and user goals, we devise a strategy to achieve both with an excellent user experience design.

Design Information Architecture

While designing the UX, our major focus is on two areas: usability and visual design. We optimize the usability of the application by keeping the user informed and in control with the help of appropriate level of vocabulary, easy to follow navigation, consistent use of design elements, and flexibility and efficiency of functionality.
For visual UX design, we make use of the design principals such as contrast, repetition, alignment, and proximity to make the aesthetics as pleasant and user friendly as possible.

Evaluate and Test

In the evaluation phase, we test our designs with focus groups. The testing criteria are: how pleasant users find the visuals, how they behave/interact with it, and how easy they find to perform specific tasks while interacting with it. Next, we get an opinion from our client about whether our designed UX fits the requirements of their ideal application.

Integrate, Develop, and Deliver

Once we are satisfied with the quality of the UX design proposals and our stakeholders also agree with our approach, we set on building our masterpiece. In this phase, we integrate all feedback received during previous stages and build a user interface design that caters to all feasible user requirements. The major deliverable of this phase are the design prototypes that are accepted from the client for final production. After agreement from all stakeholders, the final UX is launched/applied to the actual product for the end users to experience.
Our responsibilities don’t end there, we make ourselves available for post-launch support and application upgrades as and when they are needed.
