Crafting Everlasting Experience
We believe that the eventual success of our products depends on the effective application of user experience methodologies. At Powersoft19, user experience forms an integral part of our creative process bringing together content, research, design, and strategy. Each product is different and unique; hence, we manage every product through tailored processes relative to our customer.
“No product is an island. A product is more than the product. It is a cohesive, integrated set of experiences. Think through all of the stages of a product or service – from initial intentions through final reflections, from first usage to help, service, and maintenance. Make them all work together seamlessly. That’s systems thinking.”
Don Norman – Inventor of the term “User Experience”
Our Strategy
Our goal is to understand how the user will think, perceive, and act as they move through the product journey. For this, we define strategies for each product assignment. As every product has different customers, therefore we make custom strategic plans for each distinct product. Our UX strategy is based on research fundamentals that include observation, understanding, and analysis.
User Experience Design & Strategy
Observing user interaction in a given situation and recording all data
Recognizing how the user will process information
Organizing all data into charts, questionnaires, and surveys etc.
- Observing the Users’ Behavioral Patterns
- Understanding How the Users Process Information
- Analyzing and Tabulating the Data
Observing the Users’ Behavioral Patterns
Design researchers are trained and skillful observers. The first step in design is learning how to see and observe. At Powersoft19, our researchers are trained to interview a wide audience to notice subtle elements of behavior that aid decision making. These can range from picking up behavioral patterns such as anxiety, nervousness, or any minor references, which indicate long-held beliefs or suspicions.
All this research data is gathered and considered as one of the several metrics we use in our product development process. The challenge for the design researcher is to look for similar traits amongst diverse groups of people.
Our goal is to understand how the user will think, perceive, and act as they move through the product journey.
Understanding How the Users Process Information
Powersoft19’s design research team also recognizes the ‘mental models’ of their candidates. Mental models represent how we process the information daily and what is our decision-making process. A mental model is about how something works. The relationship between our intuitive perceptions and our various behavioral acts becomes the root of understanding a group or community of people.
At Powersoft19, our design researchers carefully monitor the behavior of people and group them into categories. We are always empathetic towards their reasoning, decision-making, and limitations because we understand that personal experiences and motivations have a significant role in shaping each individual and the environment.
Analyzing and Tabulating the Data
Researchers and designers at Powersoft19 gather all the data they have collected from their notes during the study of the candidates. The next step would be to analyze the data and organize it into charts and visual graphics. Included in this report will be all the questionnaires, surveys, interviews, A/B testing, etc. Design researchers will also add their insights, solutions, and recommendations in the report.
The final step in building a user experience strategy is to study our competition and explore an opportunity to create a unique value proposition for our clients.
Delivering the Final Product
The final step in building a user experience strategy is to study our competition and explore an opportunity to create a unique value proposition for our clients. Our team uses factual data to define a design direction rather than rely on assumptions. We identify user needs at the beginning of a project that informs us of the product features we may need to add or subtract. Using all this information, Powersoft19’s designers propose a Minimal Viable Product (MVP). MVPs are a prototype version of the app with limited features, which helps us determine client satisfaction and highlight any missing links.
Great digital products focus on satisfying user needs and their intuitive desire for enjoyable experiences. Our strategists and designers make sure we fulfill the need of both – your customers and your business. Powersoft19 has been in the product design business using user experience principles, design, and strategy to create exquisite and user-friendly products. Always on the go, our teams are ready to explore new opportunities to create state-of-the-art products.
