Ahmad Hassan Zaidi

In his 20+ years of experience in global software development industry, Ahmad Hassan has successfully delivered many large scale projects as a producer and consultant for clients such as Citigroup, GMAC, Boston University, Zurich Scudder, and Primerica to name a few. Ahmad’s professional goal is to deliver complete solutions to clients starting from initial concepts of the project through software requirements, high level system design, and all the way to deployment and client acceptance/signoffs. His most recent interests involve creating adaptable GUIs for cloud-based enterprise collaborative apps that meet the changing business requirements and provide high impact web experience through scalable rich media Interfaces.

Ahmad is a computer sciences and engineering graduate from University of South Florida in Tampa. He also provides training services worldwide on many aspects of global software development strategies and process improvement.

Ali Khan Sherwani

Ali, for the last ten years has been a key member of Powersoft19 team. He has done Masters in Computer Science, and is a PIQC certified ISO internal auditor. His eye for detail and excellence in managing everything from big picture to specific project facts has made him a strong leader for the Quality Assurance Department at Powersoft19. Ali has been brilliantly leading his department to assist our clients through quality induction and dynamic scheduling of resources to achieve outstanding deliveries. His administrative attributes have empowered him to coach QA team leads, engineers and testers in multiple technology areas. Using his analytical approach towards large-scale projects, his teams have skillfully addressed software quality issues for our clients around the world. He has global experience of delivering safety critical solutions that ensure European and North American regulatory standards compliance for various industries. He specializes in managing offshore enterprise project management, QC, and configuration management.

Ateeque Ahmad

Ateeque is a science graduate and comes with more than 10 years of diverse IT experience. His areas of expertise are project management, web application development, computer networks and communication. He managed projects for many local and US-based companies. He has many premium Microsoft certifications.

Asif Rehmat

Asif brings more than 9 years of experience in multiple disciplines of engineering and product development to the company.

Asif’s knowledge of managing offshore IT projects has been an asset to Powersoft19. His expertise lies in bridging the technical, communication and cultural gaps of the global and offshore teams. He has been involved in the success of various safety critical projects from inception to delivery. He has managed firmware, hardware and desktop application projects at Powersoft19.

Asif is also a faculty member of University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.

He has been involved in the development of solder-paste inspection systems, 3D algorithms for contact-less height measurement, image processing algorithms development, embedded solutions, optics, and desktop applications.

Asim Rehmat

Asim holds BS in Computer Science & Engineering and MS in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Engineering & Technology, Pakistan.

He brings with him four years of experience in multiple disciplines including Embedded Systems, Enterprise Applications and Web Technologies. He has also developed automated “Test Managers” for various Safety-Critical and Enterprise applications.

His passion and creativity in his field has helped him develop innovative methodologies. His expertise includes Embedded Systems, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Control Systems and CNC machines. He has the distinction of winning numerous awards for his projects including a special award for developing the first Humanoid Robot in Pakistan.

Asim is also a faculty member and a respected Project Advisor at University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.

Faaiz Rahim Khan

Faaiz is a graduate of University of Notre Dame, and did his MBA from University of California at Berkeley.

Faaiz has over 20 years of experience in Textiles, Agriculture and Construction.

He is a founding director of Powersoft19. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Data Agro Limited, a leader in hybrid corn development and Delinting of cotton seed. He also heads Kescon Engineering, developing real estate projects. Faaiz is an avid polo enthusiast.

Faisal Masood

Faisal, an Electrical Engineer brings more than 8 years of System Design & Development experience to the company.

He has been involved in successful delivery of multiple projects. He is a domain expert of requirements analysis and interpretation, Layout of firmware design, requirements traceability, MISRA C compliance, firmware complexity analysis, and test coverage analysis. His successful projects include Remote Control Locomotive (RCL) Feature Additions, Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics for RCL Systems, Train Dynamics Simulations and New Product Development for North American Railroad Market.

Faisal has worked on Machine Vision Camera systems, Motion Control Systems, Multi-channel Data Acquisition Systems, Asset Tracking and Management Systems, Reconfigurable Computing and Hardware Logic Design.

Hasan Akbar

Over the last two decades, Hasan has built a reputation for commitment to the pursuit of revolutionary ideas to change the way the offshore IT industry operates. Whether as a strategist, investor or in his role as an engineer, Hasan has applied his talent and passion for identifying and capitalizing on new frontiers, whether it is in communications, digital media, or his personal passion in nurturing the young talented engineers into world class professionals with “Human touch”.

He was one of the pioneers of offshore IT projects during the 1990’s – the era of “Y2K Phobia” and the birth of “Dotcoms”.

Hasan holds BS and MS degree in Computer Science from New York University.

Hassan Shahzad

Hassan is the Lead Hardware Design Engineer for the Hardware Design Division at Powersoft19.

Hassan comes from an engineering family and has been engaged in multiple electrical engineering disciplines ranging from High Speed Digital Designs to Electric Motor Root Cause Failure Analysis, from Microprocessor based designs to Vibration Analysis and has a rich experience spanning more than 7 years. He specializes in High Speed / High Density PCB Designs, Signal integrity and High Speed Digital Designs.

Hassan has worked on design projects for Cisco Systems, Apple Computers, Hawlett-Packard and has delivered highly constrained designs with tight Time-to-Market requirements in offshore environment.

His areas of interests include Intrinsically-Safe hardware designs and contribution of IPC Level 3 PCB designs in safety critical applications.

Hassan is a member of Lions Clubs International and is an active volunteer in his hometown on community service projects of cataract surgeries and cornea grafting.

Mohsin Naseer

Mohsin has over thirteen (13) years of experience in IT Industry with a proven track record of delivering multiple successful projects. He holds a Master’s degree in Electronics and an MBA. He has worked for multinationals like Philips Semiconductors, USA and LAN-WAN Technologies, Australia.

He has been involved in creating DO178 B Level A processes for delivering safety critical embedded systems, managing offshore software development teams according to those processes while ensuring that all necessary documentation for regulatory authorities are properly created and communicated. His areas of expertise are Managing Offshore Software Development Teams, Safety Critical System Development Processes, IP Study, and Managing People Expectations.

While at Powersof19 he has delivered multiple projects such as Remote Control Locomotive Feature Development for North American Railroads, Train Dynamics Simulator and Trainers, Intellectual Property Study for Train Control Systems, Patent Writing, and Remote Monitoring.

His areas of interest are Intellectual Property Studies, Patents, Commercial Licensing of Software Products, Cloud Computing and Marketing on Web. He is an ardent literature fan and loves to spend his free time reading books. He is a proud father of two. Conflict resolution between his daughter and son takes his ample free time and requires all his management expertise.

Muhammad Abubukr

Abubukr has completed his BS from Punjab University, and MS from Hamdard University, Pakistan.

He has more than twelve years of experience in the Information Technology business and has held various high-level positions in software engineering. He has successfully delivered several enterprise-level projects as a consultant to clients in US, UK, Australia and New Zealand.

Abubukr, is an IBM Certified SOA Solution Designer, Object Oriented Analysis & Design (Sun Microsystems/Oracle certified), and a Certified Java Programmer (Brainbench).

He has proven ability at management and technical level with experience of providing input into both technical and business strategies. He has experience in multiple industries and business domains.

His specialties include: Development of Team Leads, Process Improvement/Change Management, People Management and Team Motivation, and mission- critical business software solutions using cutting edge tools/technologies like Java, J2EE, SOA, Spring, Hibernate, C-Sharp, Web Services, Oracle, Linux etc.

Muhammad Ahmad

Mr. Ahmad has over ten years of extensive experience of working in offshore model. He has worked in Pakistan, Singapore, Germany and USA on various mission critical projects. Before joining Powersoft19, he worked for a German based company "Evygo GmbH", a mobile commerce solution provider. At Evygo, he was responsible for the design of framework for "Evygo Extra" and "Evygo Intra" (Products of Evygo). He worked for a Singapore based company "Abacus International" a leader in providing traveling solutions where he played an important role in designing and development of Kris Flyer (a frequent Flier System) for Singapore airlines and loyalty system for Dragon Airlines. In Pakistan, he worked for Sphinx Software where he designed and developed the Web Dimensions product for US healthcare industry for First Report of Injury of Workers. It supports different requirements for all 51 US states.

His areas of expertise are software project management and component based designing. He possesses a unique blend of drive and objectivity and is on his way to make Powersoft19 the most productive and prominent software house in Pakistan. He played the role of project manager in several projects.

Mr. Ahmad holds BS in Computer Sciences from FAST institute of Computer Science and a Masters degree in business administration from IBA, Pakistan.

Sajid Anjum

Sajid started his career 10 years ago. Till today he has successfully delivered countless software solutions for enterprise applications and embedded systems.

Key to Sajid’s success is his strong leadership skills, excellent ability to motivate and develop individuals, his forward thinking attitude, strong communication skills and extensive experience in safety-critical systems.

His areas of experience include software development, product integration and project management for distributed energy management systems and wireless remote control systems.

Dr. Shaiq A. Haq

Dr. Shaiq did his PhD from University of Nottingham, UK, MS from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, USA and BS Engineering from Pakistan.

He has more than 31 years experience in Management, Research, Development and Teaching in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics and Computer Science. He has more than 33 publications. Dr. Shaiq has worked as Dean Faculty of Engineering, Wah Engineering College, The University of Wah. He was Chairman Mechatronics Engineering Department, Air University, Islamabad. He was Chairman, Computer Science and Engineering Department, University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore.

Dr. Shaiq was the Dean of Hamdard University, Faisalabad- Campus. He was a member of Chancellor’s Consultative Committee and Head of sub-committee on Universities’ Database Computerization. He was a convener level expert of Pakistan Engineering Council for the accreditation of Mechanical, Electronics & Mechatronics Engineering programs.

He is Ex-Member P&D Board, Planning and Development Department, Government of Punjab, Pakistan. He is a Permanent Judge and ex-secretary of All Pakistan Software Competition & Exhibition. He held the prestigious positions, like the Deputy Chief Engineer (Grade-20) in KRL, Kahuta, Pakistan.

Tariq Hussain

Tariq has a MS degree in Advanced Information Technology from Southbank University, London, UK.

He has over 20 years of IT industry experience helping customers transform their IT and business processes. He has extensive knowledge and expertise in managing large scale IT programs and leading delivery teams using industry standard methodologies, processes and tools.

Furthermore, he has managed Global Resources and coordinated delivery efforts across multiple organizations using Global Solution Delivery Framework along with handling financials of large projects.

Tariq has led development and deployment teams to deliver solutions for a broad range of industries, including electronics, energy, health-care, construction, engineering, fashion, and finance.

On personal side he has excellent communication and leadership skills with a reputation of delivering innovative and superior results by envisioning solutions with real business benefits. He has demonstrated ability to communicate enthusiasm and rationale to all levels of audience across the enterprise.

Vince Mazzurco

Vince has BS in Computer Science from Kennesaw State University, USA and Computer Programming and Analysis Diploma, from Seneca College, Canada.

He has over 25 years of experience in all areas of application development combined with a broad understanding of development methods, tools, CRM (Customer Relation Management) products and technology. Knowledge in the following industries/clients: direct marketing, insurance, payroll, government industries, manufacturing, distribution, hardware volume products, inventory, telephony support, call centers, inquiry systems, Order Entry, Data Warehousing, Used Car Parts, Health Care and back office item processing (check image capture). Provided and set technical direction for application development solutions, standards, process and tools.

Vince possess expertise in database managers (i.e. DB2 and IMS), transaction managers (i.e. CICS, IMS and TSO), Call Center Solutions for ROLM and LUCENT switches, and data modeling (Logical and Physical). He provided IT Consulting and delivered project plans for Y2K projects. Assisted in structuring the planning and architecture group for newly formed companies. Integrated and planned Call Center projects that addressed Telecommunications and Computer Telephony Integration. Implemented and Customized Customer Management Tools: to increase productivity and efficiencies.

Vince has received numerous marketing excellence, special contribution, team contribution and client responsiveness awards.

Zeeshan Khan

Zeeshan is an experienced Project Manager with over 11 years of experience in managing software projects of various enormities. He has worked with leading manufacturing companies and top business organizations of USA, UK and Italy.

Before joining Powersoft19, he was working at TEK'RIDGE as a Senior Software Engineer/Technical Team Lead in developing software for industrial automation and E-Commerce domain. He successfully delivered EN 50128 compliant, safety critical solution for European Rail Road. "Real-time Quotation System" for Hilmangrant Motors Company, UK. And solutions like automated Production/Supply Chain System for Mehzu Textiles, Italy. His expertise includes Object Oriented Analysis and Component based Design, CSharp, Java, Java Beans, COM, DCOM, C/C++, XML, IIS, MTS and Rational Suite of Products.

He holds Masters Degree in Computer Science from Hamdard University.
